Leading Network - Method
Leading Network doesn’t take on any direct professional
assignments, neither seeks for managers on clients’ behalf. Yet, it offers companies and professional firms the
possibility of contacting the Network’s managers, free of charge.
Leading Network
has
three categories of members: full-time executives who are interested in Interim
Management culture and methods, professional interim managers, and professional
senior interim managers.
If a
company or a professional firm wishes to contact a manager of our network, it
may write to info@leading.it
and our Board of Directors will directly care for their request. Leading Network is not responsible for its
managers’ activity and results. Yet, if a Network’s manager is involved in a
project through Leading Network, our Board of Directors shall ask the final
user for periodic reports to monitor the quality of his/her activity and thus
guarantee the association quality standards.
Interim Manager
A manager having a good
seniority and who already carried out various project-based assignments. He/she has enough experience to undertake successfully
an interim management project successfully in her/his fields of expertise.
Senior Interim Manager
Besides
meeting the requirements of an interim manager, this manager already handled
complex projects involving other interim managers and he/she therefore has the
necessary experience to be the project leader (shadow manager).
A shadow manager usually analyses the company’s needs, defines the skills a
suitable manager should have to carry out a given project, helps the company
selecting that manager and guarantees a supervising activity of managers and
projects.
Leading
Network can provide a company or a professional firm with a list of names of
I.M. or S.I.M. available to take an assignment. This service is completely free
of charge and to the sole advantage of its members. Full responsibility of work shall be personally
borne by the interested manager.

Independence
of judgment combined with authoritativeness and personal charisma
Independence of judgment is a must to handle company change processes which are
complex and articulated. It allows to listen to the opinion of other people
involved in the process, without being influenced by consolidated business
visions which are, on the contrary, the object of change.
Since the
manager is the actor of change, he/she must besides develop his/her own
leadership in an authoritative manner and know how to involve the company’s
property, management and personnel within the new business patterns brought
about by this change.

Managing complex and articulated change processes requires a
non-sectoral company vision, which is typical of a manager who already has a
solid experience as a Managing Director, General Manager, and Business Unit
Manager. Such experienced managers are
those who can better carry out an interim management assignment.
